Coláiste Chríost Rí are All-Ireland Senior Science ChampionsColáiste Chríost Rí in Turner’s Cross in Cork city has won the 2011 ISTA All-Ireland Senior Science Quiz. The Cork students came out the best of 36 teams at the Final held in Trinity College Dublin. Special Mass in Cobh to mark departure of BrothersA special Mass has been held in St Colman's Cathedral in Cobh to honour the service of the Presentation Brothers to education in the town. The Congregation will no longer have a community of Brothers in the town with the closure of their house on Bishop Street.
The Mass, organised by staff and students of Coláiste Muire and Scoil Iosaef Naofa, was also attended by parents and local well wishers.
