The Edmund Rice Awards are an opportunity for our students, at Primary and Secondary level, to explore, in an age-appropriate way, faith and justice questions, thus enabling them to understand more deeply the connection between daily life and Christian values.

Through the Awards, students experience and reflect together on the realities of social justice and marginalisation.  By their actions and their reflection they make a significant difference in the lives of others in their local community.

In making this difference they realise something of their own power and responsibility to affect change where change is needed.
