A crowd of almost 400 people attended the first ever national vocations discernment gathering in England at the weekend. The event, known as Invocation 2010, took place at St Mary's Seminary at Oscott College in Birmingham.
Our Communications Director, Dr Andrew O'Connell, delivered a Key Note address on the Saturday morning. (Pictured left). He also sat on the panel at the press conference on Sunday afternoon with Archbishop Vincent Nichols of Westminster.
Anglo-Irish Vocations Director, Br Ray Dwyer, also attended and participated in a workshop entitled, "Questions and Answers". Br Ray has placed an account of the event on his blog, The Blogging Brother.
